A pro runs a fast rotation so everyone who wants a paddle gets one. The rest of the party is courtside with the skyline behind it. Catering delivered to the roof, bar on the lounge.
Full-rooftop buyouts are $600 an hour on weekday daytimes and $1,050 an hour evenings and weekends, two-hour minimum. A pro is extra. Send a date and headcount and you'll get a firm quote.
Two weeks is comfortable. Evening and weekend dates go first, and holiday parties book a month or more out. Anyone can book. You don't need a member in your group.
Beer and wine are welcome at a private buyout. Bring your own, keep it on the lounge and off the courts, and everyone drinking is 21 plus.
It's a garage roof, so there are no restrooms on the floor. Public restrooms are a short walk from the entrance and we'll point your group to them. Ask about options for big parties.
The garage lights come on at dusk and play carries on after sunset, but it's evening light, not stadium light. In late fall and winter, plan the pickleball first and the party after.
Courts are open 8am to 8pm, every day. Evening and weekend blocks go first, so ask early.
Directly above Downtown Berkeley BART. Elevator to the 6th-floor rooftop. Driving? Park in front of the courts.
The rooftop is uncovered. If rain is in the forecast we'll work with you to move the date.
